Petit Point Key Chain Purse
.
1960s. Maker: Unknown, but marked Germany. Super cute black satin purse with
delicate petit point floral design and gold-tone—now more brass-colored—hardware.
Big enough to hold a lucky penny.
This is the smallest vintage purse I own. Looks anachronistic next to my Honda key, but a good
representation of exactly how I feel when I wear Doc Martens with a vintage
skirt!

I've died and gone to vintage purse heaven. I LOVE all things vintage esp. handbags. I cant wait until I have time to go back and look at all your pictures. Always, SOULBeautiful xx*s www.alilpieceofmysoul.blogspot.com
Sometimes I look at my collection and wonder if I've gone just a teensy overboard... and then I get a nice comment from someone like you! (Meaning you agree with my assessment, but think it's just fine!)
Hi Wendy,
Funny story~ I'm writing (trying to write)a post for my new blog about Caron of Houston bags. A search at the library yesterday turned up your article from Antiques & Collecting magazine (but little else)and so I made a note to myself to look you up. Today I'm browsing through blogs about vintage fashion & such, and I find this blog, and Holy Smokes! It's you!
What a fun blog you have here. I love it! I'm going to add myself to your "followers".
Check out my fledgling blog, if you want :-)

Dina! So awesome to hear from you. I have one or two or a dozen Caron bags myself. And I'm really glad to hear that you found me through that magazine article. I'm a professional freelance writer, but I'm particularly proud of that piece because it was about something I really love.
